Jackson High School Key Club Garage Sale

Please visit JHS Key Club garage sale and find treasures and treats!! We have jewelry, coats, toys, books, kitchenware, bikes, seasonal decors, gardening items and more!

If you would like to donate we have a community drop off on Oct 3rd 4pm to 6pm in front of Jackson High School. We take anything from seasonal decorations, books, toys, jewelry, bikes, kitchenware, etc. The only items we WILL NOT take is anything broken/not working, shoes, and clothes.

Soft Plastics Recycling

78.3lbs. of plastic film was harvested from Everett Public Schools Foundation’s annual Stuff the Bus in August. 200+ volunteers prepared and delivered over 3,000 backpacks to the students and families in Everett Public Schools before the new school year.

Notice: Soft Plastics Recycling

Effective June 3 2024, soft Plastics at the Mill Creek Library (15429 Bothell Everett Hwy Mill Creek, WA 98012-1212) will cease. Please take your recycling to your local grocer where you find a bin for recycled plastic.

Party in the Parks & Kids Fun Run

The Party in the Parks & Kids Fun Run will take place at Mill Creek Sports Park on Thursday, June 27th from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Just like previous Party in the Parks events, we’ll have plenty of activities, games, and food for everyone. 

This year, we’ll be introducing the Kids Fun Run! There will be three distances that are age appropriate for kids Kindergarten – 5th grade.
Kindergarten/1st grade = 1 lap (.25 mile)
2nd grade/3rd grade = 3 laps (.75 mile)
4th/5th grade = 6 laps (1.5 miles)

Registration opens May 20
K/1st Grade / 2nd/3rd Grade / 4th/5th Grade
Online registration and a liability release are required and free. You must have a free account with ActiveNet to register.

• There is a limit of 150 participants for the entire race. (50 per category)
• There is no-day of registration. Online registration will close the day before.
• All registered participants will get a Fun Run race bib and a swag bag.
• Check in for all registered participants will take place between 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. This guarantees that all participants will have access to parking and the many other activities at the Party in the Parks event.
• Top 5 finishers in each category will be recognized on the winner’s podium after all races have concluded. This race will not be timed officially, although volunteers will be tracking the top 5 finishers in each category.
• Parents must be in attendance with their children at check-in and during the race, although the race course is for kids only. (parents allowed on course for K/1st). Parents can watch and cheer from the sidelines.

5:30 p.m.     Check-in closes for all age groups
5:30 p.m.     Party in the Parks opens to all
5:30 p.m.     Kindergarten/1st grade race
6:00 p.m.     2nd grade/3rd grade race
6:30 p.m.     4th/5th grade race
7:00 p.m.     Podium

Food trucks will include WiseGuy Italian Street Food, The Panini Truck, and Yay Big. Yay High. Yay Ice Cream!

Cheering and hype will be provided by the Jackson High School Cheer Team!
