Recycled Plastics Bench Donation
Kiwanis Club of Mill Creek graciously donated a plastic recycled bench to People’s Bank at Mill Creek Town Center.
This is the 4th bench our Kiwanis club has donated to the community.
For the past 3.5 years, Kiwanis Club of Mill Creek members volunteered to pick up flexible plastic at various locations deposit bins.
For every 1000 pounds of flexible plastic collected by our Club’s volunteers, Kiwanis Club of Mill Creek earned one recycled bench from NexTrex Company, a leader in wood alternative decking materials.
Accepting the bench from members of the Mill Creek Kiwanis Club were Melissa, VP District Branch Manager for People’s Bank and fellow Kiwanian, as well as Sierra Retail Branch Manager of People’s Bank.
Next time you’re strolling through Mill Creek Town Center, take-a-rest on one of our donated benches.
