The City of Mill Creek is hosting an Earth Day trail clean up event. Participants can meet at City Hall North (15720 Main Street) and collect trash grabbers, yellow safety vests, and bags. This family-friendly event aims to promote environmental awareness and encourage community participation in keeping the city clean

Items We DO Accept 
Computers, Laptops, Cell Phones, Tablets, Flat Screen TVs &Monitors (LCD, Plasma), Printers, Fax Machines, Scanners,Servers & Networking Equipment, Keyboards, Mice, RemoteControls, Telecom Equipment, AV Equipment (DVD, Blu-ray,VCR, Stereos, Gaming Consoles), Microwaves, Holiday Lights,Wires, Cables  

Items We CANNOT Accept 
Refrigerators and Large Appliances (washers/dryers, stoves, dishwashers,etc.) Tube TVs/Projection TVs, CRT Monitors, Water Heaters, BBQs, PatioFurniture, Exercise Equipment, Vacuum Cleaners  

It’s Free to drop off items, DONATIONS ARE ENCOURAGED.Donations benefit Kiwanis Club of Mill Creek and used in our community.

Giving blood is easy to do and saves lives in our local hospitals. Donors need to be at least 16 years old, and need to check in with photo ID. Blood Drives in the Mill Creek area this spring is May 13 & 14 at North Creek Presbyterian Church, 621 SW 164th St. SE, Mill Creek, 98012.

Please provide code “KCMC” (Kiwanis Club of Mill Creek) when you check in for your appointment. This allows the blood bank to track our impact on donations. In 2023, 24 units of blood were donated by the Kiwanis friends and family!

Mill Creek Party in the Parks returns this summer! Join the City of Mill Creek for summer evening community events June through August. Bring the family and get ready for a party in our local parks! These events will provide a fun evening out for the community with fun activities and games while showcasing the City’s beautiful local parks. This year we will be introducing a Kids Fun Run at Freedom Field.

Join the Mill Creek Police Department for some family fun as we celebrate another Party in the Parks! National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It also provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide. Neighborhoods host block parties, cookouts and visits from emergency personnel. This year in Mill Creek, we're excited to celebrate with you and your family!
